Awards Level 3 Advanced Certificate In Volunteer Management
Vocational Related Qualifications (VRQs)
are qualifications located within the National Qualifications
Framework. They are related to employment but do not necessarily
require work placement. This means that people can undertake
training for a different job or a new career, or they may
train to advance within their current occupation.
Developed in association with leading voluntary
organisations, the Level 3 Award in Volunteer Management is
suitable for anyone who manages volunteers either in a voluntary
or paid capacity. The earlier qualification in Volunteer Management
has recently been revised and extended by Adam May of AM Training.
It is designed to relate closely to the National Occupational
Standards and consists of six units:
Unit 1: Plan volunteer work
Unit 2: Organising volunteers and resources
Unit 3: Monitor volunteer work
Unit 4: Communicate effectively to brief volunteers
Unit 5: Support volunteers to solve problems
Unit 6: Give feedback to volunteers
The Award is made by Lantra Awards. AM Training
is an Approved Centre for Lantra Awards.
